LFW: DAY 4

Today was a busy day at LFW for shows, what with Erdem, Pringle of Scotland, Burberry Prorsum and Cristopher Kane all showing, it has been hard going selecting our two favorites . . . oh well here goes!

Burberry Prorsum, three words . . . to die for! Christopher bailey pulled out all the stops with this A/W collection, a grand total of 58 men's and women's looks made their way down the catwalk, and we loved virtually every one! There were so many looks to choose from it was hard to narrow it down, but we've picked our top 10 (and believe me that was hard enough!) Cinched in waists with cute bow belts were a key feature of the collection as where the medium sized duffle bags, baker boy cap and studded leather gloves. For the guys it was all about the velour suit, shiny black leather brogues and the classic tailored double breasted suit jacket and coat. The finale was a flurry of gold glitter, with models holding umbrellas firmly in hand.

Sophie Hulme is a graduate from Kingston University, upon graduating she immediately started up her own label, each piece that Sophie designs is intended to be worn individually, making the collection extremely versatile in terms of mixing and matching pieces. We particularly liked the way in which she's combined socks with stiletto's, usually a fashion no-no, we think our opinions may have just been changed!
