Alexandra Burke featuring Erick Morillo - ELEPHANT released 11th March

Newest track from X factor alumni Alexandra Burke titled Elephant is a stomping club track and excellent for the gym. It's a bit of a different sound for Alexandra, less pop and more trance this time. Not a 100% but pretty certain there’s a touch of auto tune 'in the room' rather than an elephant. Considering Alexandra's fantastic voice this a bit of a shame, however it is understandable when you consider the genre and beat of this track. Altogether this tune works well as a dance floor filler, even if you're not a fan it is hard to resist letting
your toe's tap.

Stooshe featuring Travis McCoy - LOVE ME released 5th March

Alexandra, Courtney and Karis AKA Stooshe are the newest girl band on the block, brimming with attitude and style to match. Their latest single 'Love me' is the reworked version of their previous 'F*#@ Me' feat Suave Debonair. 'Love Me' is a more family friendly approach to the song, with just the right amount of raunchy yet nice. Overall, this tune has a soulful under current bought up to date with the cheeky lyrics. The half spoken half sung song is definitely a grower. Extra brownie points are awarded for getting Travie on board! There is plenty more to come from these stunner girls!

Marcus Collins - SEVEN NATION ARMY released 4th March

It seems it is the month for X factor releases and now fresh-faced Marcus Collins is here with his debut single, Seven Nation Army. A rework of The White Stripes hit, Marcus injects new life into this song. The beat has been funked and softened up whilst his smooth voice brings a fresh interpretation to the lyrics. The music video is somewhat minimal echoing quite blatantly the original video concept of The White Stripes. It is a great cover and does a very popular song justice, however it hasn't knocked the original
off the top spot just yet.
