Maggie Angus is the brainchild of Anna Evans. This playful range of perspex jewellery, including earrings, necklaces and brooches are developing a cult following, with the likes of Fearne Cotton, Jessie J and Little Mix all firm fans of the collection.
The brand is just over a year old, and was first brought to life after Anna decided to embrace her love of all things jewellery whilst working at Elle magazine. Driven by her love of fashion and ability to predict trends Maggie Angus was born, combining skills learnt whilst completing her Art and Design degree at Edinburgh University with knowledge attained whilst at Elle culminating in this highly successful and completely unique brand.
Anna is inspired by a diverse range of subjects, from the South Pacific to the Great British seaside, proving that inspiration really can be found everywhere you look. Anna has primarily taken inspiration from her Scottish grandmother, who was an avid jewellery junkie and fashion lover, the ethos and identity of the brand is very much centered around her grandmother's witty, upbeat and eccentric personality, creating fun light-hearted pieces.
