The Billboard awards took place this week, although they've been slightly overshadowed somewhat by the Cannes Film Festival taking place at the same time. Adele was the biggest winner of the night taking homing an astonishing 12 gongs with LMFAO winning 6. Here's a look at some of the night's best dressed A-listers . . .

Zooey Deschanel wore one of our favourite dresses of the night, by Moschino AW12, although we're not sure the black tights work, the look would of looked better with nude tights.
