Beauty must have . . . Face mask

A skin care regime would not be complete without a weekly face mask, they're great for removing any dead skin, unclogs blocked pores and just generally gives your skin the love and attention it needs, after everything that the delicate skin on your face is exposed to.

There are loads of different products on the market, and it can be hard to see the wood for the trees, so to speak, but we've got a round up of the three best face masks on the market . . .

One of the cheapest masks on our list by some considerable way (a mere £1) it is also one of the best. Cleanse your face using warm water to open up the pores, patting dry, then simply apply a thin layer to your face (avoiding the delicate area around your eyes) and leave for 10 - 15 minutes, or until dry, and rinse off with water.

This deep pore mask is suited to normal, oily and problematic t-zone area skin types, thanks to the sea kelp and Dead Sea Mud helping to draw out impurities and open up blocked pores, leaving clean super soft skin. The mask also contains aromatherapy oils, perfect after a long day out and about! The sachet is meant to be used in one go, but could stretch to 2 uses depending on how much you apply.

A personal favourite of ours, this exfoliator-come-face mask from Soap & Glory is perfect for those with oily and spot prone skin. Use it once every seven days for a weekly facial clean or better yet, instead of massaging it into your skin, apply a thin layer all over your face (avoiding the eye area of course!) and leave to work its magic for three minutes. You can feel this stuff working its magic as time progresses, drawing out all the impurities, leaving you with tingly clean skin.

This super mask boosts your skins youthful radiance, as well as revitalising tired complexions and unclogging stubborn pores. The Power Berry mask is packed with antioxidant-rich acai berries, as well as bilberry, cranberry and grapes, culminating in a gel mask, and best of all it's great for those who have sensitive skin.

Apply a thin layer to your face, avoiding the eyes and mouth, leave for up to 10 minutes, and then rinse with warm water, which will turn the mask from a gel into a light exfoliating milk.

This is an amazing mask for those with problem skin, no matter whether you're male or female, the mask contains powerful antibacterial Manuka honey, with white and green clay to mop up any excess oil, while the honey and propolis (an immune-boosting wax made by bees) soften skin and heal inflamed skin. Smooth on all over, or for targeted action just dab on individual problem areas or spots removing after 10 minutes.
