Granny-chic are the first words that sprang to mind when we saw Peter Jensen's A/W collection, with the models all sporting grey wigs (very reminiscent of Kelly Osbourne's new hair style) The chunky Aran knit jumpers were a key feature of the collection coming in a variety of colours from marl grey to navy blue combined with contrasting textures and fabrics, our favourite look . . . the quilted black skirt, grey marl jumper teamed with red socks and black loafers.
Thakoon Addition, is Thakoon's sister line, a playful, fresher collection aimed at a younger cliental. Similarly to the Topshop Unique collection, the tailoring was very relaxed, particularly towards the end, with long flowing dresses, jumpsuits and wide leg trousers. Our favourite look came right at the end, a full length black dress, with vast amounts of black fabric in the skirt, teamed with matching blazer, such an effortless look yet very sophisticated. Addiction is definitely a collection worth watching over the coming seasons as the brand continues to go from strength to strength.
